Submission Guidelines

Hilltree would greatly appreciate sharing your ideas and stories via publication here on this website.

1. Please read the "About Us" first. Submissions should be personal, from the heart and remind us all of what this World is. More importantly, your submission should inspire all who read it to extend, and to contribute to what is said. Hopefully your contribution will fire us all into action and hence help build a better World for us ALL. No hate, racist, degrading, etc. material will be accepted (see point 6 below).

2. Please include your first name, last name, email address, full home address, and optionally your phone number . We may need to talk with you about your submission now, and for many years after your submission. Remember some readers may like to contact you, so please specify how they may contact you, or if you would only like to be contacted via us. No personal information will be supplied to anyone without your permission, other than as required by the law of Queensland, Australia.

3. Let us know how you would like your submission to be publicly acknowledged by author. eg.   by John Smith or   by John S.

4. Submissions should be in plain text, in english, with no formating applied. Please send as a .txt file attachment with your submission email. Ideally, individual submissions should be around 500 words or less, and no more than 1000 words.

5. All works must be your own original work and not infringe any existing copyrights.

6. You maintain copyright of your writings but grant HillTree a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, publish, copy, edit, modify, or create derivative works from your submission. We reserve the right to refuse to publish, any submission.

7. As a matter of courtesy, should we choose to edit or modify your submission for this website (eg. add an image or change the wording) we will inform you of the proposed changes, seek any further changes from you, and finally seek your approval via email, before publication.

8. No payment, or any other compensation will be made for your submission other than at HillTrees discretion.

9. Submissions must be via email to enquire@hilltree.com.
